When you use 54FortyFive you tell us personal and sensitive things about your child. This page explains, in plain English, what we collect, why, who helps us process it, how long we keep it and what your rights are.
Who we are
54FortyFive is run by 54FORTYFIVE LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16512699), registered office 4 Ranworth Close, Bolton, BL1 7RL. We are the data controller for the information you give us. For anything about your data, email j.bunting54@outlook.com.
What we collect
- About you: your first name, your relationship to the child and your email address.
- About your child: their first name, age, type of school, whether they have an EHCP or any diagnosis, and your answers about their behaviour, worries, sleep, eating, sensory needs, screen use, school, strengths and anything that concerns you, including any worries about their safety.
- The report we produce from your answers.
- Payment details: handled by Stripe. We see the product you bought, the amount and your email address. We never see or store your card number.
- If you book the call: your email and anything you share during the call.
Information about a child's health, development and wellbeing is “special category” data under UK data protection law, so we treat it with extra care. Please only share what you are comfortable sharing, and use first names only.
Why we use it, and our legal basis
- To produce and send your report (and run the call, if you booked it). Legal basis: performing our contract with you.
- Health and wellbeing information about your child. Legal basis: your explicit consent, which you give by ticking the consent box before you pay. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing us; we will then delete your answers and report.
- Payment records. Legal basis: legal obligation (tax and accounting law).
- Checking reports for safety and quality before they are sent. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in providing a safe service, alongside your consent.
We do not sell your information, use it for advertising or share it with anyone not listed below.
How your report is made
Your answers are sent to an AI model (Claude, provided by Anthropic) which drafts the report using a framework and library of ideas written and approved by our lead practitioner. Every report is checked by our practitioner before it is sent to you. The report is information to help you; no decision with legal or similar effect is made about you or your child by automated means.
Who helps us process your information
We use a small number of trusted companies (“processors”) who act on our instructions:
- Anthropic — the AI that drafts your report. Under its commercial terms Anthropic does not use your answers to train its models, and keeps them only for a limited period for safety purposes.
- Vercel — hosts this website and runs the system that creates your report.
- Upstash (via Vercel) — the secure database where your answers and report are stored until they are deleted.
- Resend — sends the email that delivers your report.
- Stripe — takes your payment. Stripe also acts as an independent controller for some payment information; see stripe.com/gb/privacy.
Some of these companies store or process data in the United States. Where that happens, the transfer is protected by safeguards recognised under UK law, such as the UK–US Data Bridge or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
How long we keep it
- Your answers and your report: deleted automatically 90 days after you submit them. This gives time to resend a lost email, deal with any questions and hold the call if you booked one. Keep your own copy of the PDF, because after 90 days we cannot resend it.
- Payment records: kept by Stripe and in our accounts for six years, as required by law. These do not include your answers about your child.
- Emails you send us: kept only as long as needed to deal with your request.
How we protect it
Information is sent over encrypted connections and stored with providers that encrypt data at rest. Only our practitioner can access submitted answers and reports, through a password-protected review area. Reports are emailed only to the address you give us, so please check it carefully.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the information we hold about you and your child
- ask us to correct it
- ask us to delete it, or withdraw your consent, at any time
- ask us to restrict or stop using it
- receive it in a portable format
- complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO)
To use any of these rights, email j.bunting54@outlook.com. We will reply within one month. If you ask us to delete your information, we delete your answers and report straight away; payment records we are legally required to keep are not affected.
Children have the same rights over their own information. If your child is old enough to understand what this report is (usually from around 12, and always from 16), we encourage you to talk with them about it and share it with them.
Cookies
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. The payment page is run by Stripe, which uses essential cookies to process your payment securely and prevent fraud.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first at j.bunting54@outlook.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint, or 0303 123 1113.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we use your information we will update this page and the date at the top.
